It's reported that the spot iron ore prices have increased sharply.
At present, the spot prices of Indian iron ore fine contain 63.5% Fe to China are at US$134~US$135/ton C&F, jumping by US$5/ton from the previous US$129~US$130/ton C&F.
It's analyzed that the Chinese steel mills and traders are replenishing the stocks recently, boosting the iron ore prices to rise and making the iron ore inventories at the Chinese major ports decrease to 8,000 tons.
